Bachelorette Party!

Last night was the bachelorette party! It was a TON of fun! We started out at my house for a barbeque, some drinks, a pinata, cake, etc. Mandi and Katie got creative with the naughty stuff, and it turned out amazingly well! Mandi made a pinata shaped like a penis with a cape - we called it super weanie! Katie made the coolest, most detailed cake, VERY impressive! See for yourself:

Check out the attire they had me in!

We did a group shot called a blow job - no hands!

Then we piled into a couple of big vans and John and Mark drove us downtown for some good times!

Here we are at the Shout house: Dueling pianos lead by some funny guys. It was a lot of fun!
With my bridesmaids!
Stacy brought a black bag of naughty novelty items, including this sucker:
They brought me on stage for a little roast, and gave me a bumper sticker. Good times!
My cousins and I in the bathroom of the Shout House!
Then we went to the Gay 90s for a drag show! Here Christina's trying to get him/her to guess her bra size. This place was so much fun, and the host here was absolutely hilarious! I can't believe I'd never gone here before. What a blast!
A couple of pictures of some of the great people who came to share the fun!

We've been pretty busy with the new house, the upcoming wedding (only a week away!) and everything else, I've forgotten to keep posting here! Anyway, since I still haven't put up any house pictures, I figured I'd at least add some. The befores were taken the day we closed before we had the chance to change anything. I'll put some more after photos up when we finish our hard work, and you'll see a big difference!

Just wanted to post a little update - we've been out of internet access from the move and I've been unable to post anything! We closed on our house on March 11th, and have been CRAZY busy painting, drywalling, prepping trim, and all the other various projects we're working on to make our house what we want it to be.

I've been busy with work - did a bunch of photo shoots at the Mall of America last week in the Janie and Jack kids stores for a special promo, then last weekend I was at Midwest Kids Fest at my booth and as a sponsor for the cutest kids contest. That, along with moving and my normal shooting schedule made March a CRAZY busy month! We only have internet on Bob's computer, so I don't have access to the pictures yet, so I can't share unfortunately.

As soon as we get my computer connected I'll post some "before" pictures!

Tomorrow I get my first bridal shower, put on by my great friend and personal attendent Mary! So excited!

Seems my little girl has blossomed overnight...

Haha, yes, I know this is wrong on so many levels, but I can't help but laugh at how rediculous this looks.

Bob decided to goof around and put two halfs of a hamster ball underneath my hotpink bathrobe, which he was wearing at the time. (Wish I got a shot of that!)

Nina saw it and thought it was just the funniest thing ever (she's easily entertained). So we let her give it a try, and man; I just couldn't stop laughing - but I managed to grab the camera so I could share this wonderful family moment with you.
Man, have we been hit with the sickies this year! I don't think ANY of us have ever had strep in our lives, but in the last 2 months Bob and I have BOTH been diagnosed with strep throat TWICE!!! This is unreal, I tell ya! I finished my second round of antibiotics last week and was finally starting to feel better, when Bob started complaining of a sore throat again. We hoped it was just a cold that would run it's course in a couple days, but by Friday it was really painful, so he went to the after hours clinic. Low and behold, it's strep, AGAIN. He took some antibiotics for a couple days, hoping to feel better soon. Well, this morning I woke to find him on the couch, unable to sleep, eat, or even talk. I looked in his throat and it was swollen so bad it, well, I won't go into details because I don't want to give you that beautiful picture in your head. We took a trip to the clinic again, and after a couple shots in the butt (of which Nina found hilarious to watch) I dropped him off at home to rest while I took Nina out for errands so he could have some peace and quiet.
Everything's looking a little better now, but we'll see how he feels tomorrow.
Spring couldn't come soon enough - I don't know how much more of this we can take!

Ok, so the past week or so, our household has become addicted to a little game called Mobster. It's an online game on myspace.com, and the goal is to make as much money and whack as many mobsters as possible, becoming a badass supermobster!

Not a game you'd typically see me playing, but I have to admit, it's got me sucked in! I asked my mom to join my mob, so we could have a stronger force, and now Mom's addicted too! It just cracks me up.

So, in my digital life, Bob, Mom, Nina and me are all mobsters teamed up with several other online mobsters, rolling in the dough (I think I have 60 cars, 150 guns, 115 bulletproof vests, 1 restaurant, 5 townhome complexes, 15 apartment buildings, 10 luxery hotels, seaside property, and a plaza. I'm saving for a Casino and 10 skyscrapers.)

So if you have some spare time, come join my mob! We're a sweet little family by day, sinister mobsters, whacking rivals by night. We're more than meets the eye, hahahahahha!!!

OH! I forgot to mention, we have a house! The second house that we made an offer on countered, and we accepted. So, now we need to get inspections done and all that fun stuff! Hopefully in a month we'll be moving into our new home. Yay!

The house is on a cudusac (sp?) in Cottage Grove. It's a rambler built in the 70s and has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 dens downstairs (which can easily be made into bedrooms and will be used as a playroom and my office) and 2600 square feet! It's in very nice condition. We'll just be adding our own personal touches.

I'll post pictures as soon as I take some.

We'll have to throw a party there this summer!
